My project beta video encompasses the progress and progressions my DA has made over the last 10 weeks.
My DA has grown a shifted a lot during the last few months so hear I am discussing my project beta. This DA originated as a tiktok account creating education and informative content for baristas or people passionate to learn about coffee. But this project has grown beyond that. I am still creating on tiktok as it is a platform that works for me as a creator and has a developed community present but the content style and ways in which I produce and promote my videos has changed drastically.

I was a trying to follow a posting schedule and was not engaging with my audience and the online community anywhere near enough. My DA felt distant and like it was filling up empty space on the internet for a random person to stumble across every few days. I was receiving little to no user feedback on my videos early on in my project and as we know no feedback is feedback in and of itself.
Because of this I decided to take a new avenue with my DA and made my first comedic video. This video ‘blew up’ in relation to my previous posts and my tiktok was reborn. I begun posting whenever I felt like it, which without the pressure of a schedule, actually became a lot more frequently. I was inspired and enjoying creating content for my account and finally felt a connection between my personal interests and the content I was creating.

My interaction was growing and I was receiving feedback on my videos.
In my experience I have learnt that audiences respond better to content that is organic and the creator holds pride and passion in. I have continued to produce whatever avenue of video feels right for me and my account and the audience has so far responded well.
